The previous Mortal Kombat made a bold move and included Freddy Krueger in their DLC, a move that was oddly satisfying. Putting in one of the most notorious horror figures in a lineup of a fighting game was something nobody saw coming.
The newest next gen title, Mortal Kombat X has followed in suit, announcing Jason Vorhees to be part of their Kombat pack roster.[1]
The Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack will include four playable characters; including Jason, two classic characters, and a special guest that has yet to be announced.
The game is shaping up to be a violent bloodbath, with some of the most gruesome fatalities with next gen graphics. I am intrigued for how the game will turn out, and the "special guest" seems like a huge teaser. If you add Jason to your lineup, anything is possible.
Mortal Kombat X will be available on April 14th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
